Last Sunday, a team of 4 consultants from our Frankfurt office participated in a tower run at Frankfurt's Messeturm, the third tallest building in Europe, with 1,344 steps.

The "arque-sky-run" is now on par with other international tower runs such as Taipai's "101 Run up" (2,046 steps) and the Empire State Building Run-up in New York (1,567 steps). Last Sunday was the second time the Frankfurt event took place.

In the long term, the run is intended to become a major event on the region's sports calendar and also serve as a milestone project. The organizers were very pleased with the results of the charity run. The entry fees from the total of 32 corporate teams amounted to about EUR 18,000. This was good news for the benefiting charity organization, which supports families in the Rhein-Main area with a parapalegic family member suffering from Spina bifida (ARbeitsgemeinschaft für QUErschnittgelähmte mit Spina bifida Rhein-Main-Nahe e.V.).

Although the Roland Berger team decided to participate spontaneously and without any special training, they were able to place 17th. The team intents to repeat its participation next year and has already found further participants among the colleagues.
