Help for Haiti
Earthquake victims will receive supplies from the international relief organization "Gebende Hände"
Many thousands of people in Haiti have been killed or left homeless by the country's worst earthquake in 200 years. The quake's epicenter was near the country's capital, Port-au-Prince, where more than a million people live. Relief organizations and countries around the world have started pouring in funds and providing humanitarian aid for Haiti. This natural disaster means immediate and massive international aid is necessary.
Our company also quickly decided to provide a sizable sum for urgently needed items such as blankets, cots, clothing, etc.
What's special about our support is that we are helping in two ways: we are supporting Bavaria's workshops for the blind by buying their goods which then go directly to those in need in the disaster area. Roland Berger is thereby acting as a "broker" for a good cause. This isn't the first time our company has done so. We have provided local and international help in the past, such as in China following the country's earthquake in 2008.

The supplies will be loaded into containers in the coming days and sent to Haiti. The relief agency's excellent organization and experience ensure optimal on-site emergency support.
