Roland Berger Strategy Consultants is hosting a one-day workshop designed especially for female students and graduates.
Roland Berger's goal is to encourage female university graduates to check out a career in strategy consulting. A project presentation will show the 30 participants what it is like to work for a strategy consultancy. The workshop also include topics on marketing yourself and provides valuable professional advice. Roland Berger Strategy Consultants has already firmly established its support of women since 2002 through its FORWARD (For Women – Attracting, Retaining, Developing) initiative. This initiative is also the driving force behind this workshop. Female students in all fields in their 3rd or 4th years of university studies as well as graduates, postgraduates and young professionals from Germany can take part in this event on January 20, 2006 in Berlin. Roland Berger Strategy Consultants is inviting 30 women in their 3rd or 4th years of university studies as well as graduates, postgraduates and young professionals to Berlin. At stepFORWARD, the participants will learn how a leading international strategy consultancy works. Dr. Joachim Kartte, Partner at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, will talk about a current study on "Innovation and growth in healthcare". According to this study, healthcare is the single largest industry in Germany and there is significant growth potential. In additional to showing the current status of this industry, the study also shows trends and opportunities in the healthcare sector.
Kristine Quadflieg, Senior Consultant in the Restructuring & Corporate Finance Competence Center, as well as Oliver Rong, Senior Project Manager in the Pharma & Healthcare Competence Center, will present a reorganization project, which they conducted at a university clinic.
At the end of the workshop, Dr. Sabine Dembkowski, coaching advisor, will provide tips on the topic of marketing yourself. This presentation highlights the need to professionally market yourself. She shows how to create your personal brand in four steps.
