Roland Berger Strategy Consultants is conducting a recruiting workshop for interns. start2006 offers 25 students insight into the life of an international strategy consultant. Participants will work two days on a consulting project for one of Roland Berger's clients. The event is designed for students in their 3rd or 4th years of university studies who have already gained some practical experience. Those able to demonstrate appropriate skills at start2006 can begin an internship at Roland Berger. The workshop will take place in Cologne on January 13 and 14, 2006. Students interested in this event should apply by December 15, 2005 under www.start.rolandberger.com.
Under the motto "A new take on things", Roland Berger Strategy Consultants is inviting 25 students from Germany, Austria and Switzerland will be invited to Cologne. start2006 will provide participants with insight into international strategy consulting. In small teams supported by consultants, students will develop solution strategies for an actual client engagement in athletic sponsoring. The participants will subsequently present their results to a jury made up of Roland Berger consultants. The jurors will evaluate the various approaches and discuss with the students which recommendations can be put into practice.
During the workshop, participants will also be able to network with Roland Berger employees and gain information on potential career paths in consulting.
Furthermore, start2006 offers students the opportunity to see if consulting is even for them. "With 'start2006', our goal is to encourage top minds to complete an internship at Roland Berger. More than 50% of our Junior Consultants first worked for us as interns and subsequently decided to work fulltime for Roland Berger," says Thomas Eichelmann, Executive Committee member.
Roland Berger is looking for candidates for start2006 who have successfully completed their first two years of university studies (intermediate exam) and who already have some practical (internship) business experience.
