The event offers students and graduates insights into how the Restructuring & Corporate Finance Competence Center works. Together with consultants, the teams will develop concepts for crisis management at a company.

University students, post-graduates and young professionals with at least three years experience can apply. The workshop will be held on May 19/20, 2006 in Berlin. Applications can be submitted at www.career-structures.rolandberger.com   by May 3, 2006.

Graduates, young professionals or university students interested in working for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants should have fundamental business skills, ideally from an internship at an international company. Participants who do well at "Career Structures" have excellent prospects for a career in international strategy consulting.

"We want to motivate potential consultants to learn more about our work and provide an honest impression of what it's like to work as a consultant," says Dr. Ralf Moldenhauer, Partner at the Restructuring & Corporate Finance Competence Center. "In addition to analytical skills, our projects require pragmatism and the ability to actually implement concepts. 'Career Structures' allows students to find out if consulting is for them."

During the workshop, consultants from the Restructuring & Corporate Finance Competence Center will discuss their projects and career paths. Roland Berger experts will also show practical examples on how to create restructuring concepts and how companies have strategically realigned themselves. Subsequently, the students get a close up look at the tasks performed and challenges faced by consultants. They must draft strategies for a Roland Berger client on how to successfully conduct crisis management. The consultants rate the student teams' concepts and provide feedback based on their own consulting experiences.

The social program in Berlin allows applicants to get to know potential colleagues personally. Consultants explain how they got started as management consultants. They also answer questions on to become a consultant and career prospects at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants.
