The new German-language career portal for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants is online. The new page can be found at www.careers.rolandberger.de,   -.at   (for Austria) and -.ch (for Switzerland). It is intended for applicants who are interested in a career with Roland Berger. On the new website, applicants can find information regarding career opportunities and can also "meet".

"The Internet is now the most important source of information for starting a career and choosing an employer," says Principal Sven Breipohl, who is responsible for recruiting and employee development at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. The new portal offers information regarding beginning and developing a career in addition to links to job listings, recruiting events and an online application.

The chapters "About us", "Values" and "Clients and markets" provide a look into the work and corporate culture of the international strategy consultancy. Consultants expound on what makes a successful strategy and how one is designed. Project examples illustrate what tasks a consultant will face and how interdisciplinary teams at Roland Berger work together.

Applicant information is the focus of the "Why you?", "Starting" and "Prospects" chapters. The pages list qualifications and abilities that a future consultant should possess. Consultants in various specialties have posted their CVs, so that applicants can get an idea of who their potential colleagues are. Furthermore, applicants can learn about the career path at Roland Berger and which development opportunities are offered by the strategy consultancy. Consultants also report on their first 100 days on the job and their experiences in advanced degree programs or on sabbatical. Information on the application process and details on job offers and recruiting events round out the new portal.

"We designed the new portal so that applicants don't just find facts and figures about the company, but can also meet the people behind the statistics. Our consultants are individuals with varied backgrounds and personalities. We prize this diversity, because that's where creativity comes from," explains Breipohl.
