The recruiting workshop start2008 offers undergraduate and graduate students insight into what it's like to work as an international strategy consultant. Participants from Germany, Austria and Switzerland work in small groups to develop consulting solutions for an international healthcare group. start2008 is designed for university students in their fourth semester (or higher), graduates and postgraduates. The workshop will be held in Munich on January 18-20, 2008. Those interested can apply by December 15, 2007 at www.start.rolandberger.com.

Participants of start2008 can gain insight into what it's like to work for a strategy consultancy by working on a real project. Students, graduates and postgraduates work in small groups to analyze an international healthcare group's business processes. Experienced consultants help them develop a concept for reorganizing the value chain to make the client most competitive. The participants must then convince the client of their strategies in a presentation to the management board.

"The success of our projects relies heavily on our consultants winning the trust of our clients. This is why we are looking for consultants with personality. The combination of diverse talent and personalities produces creative solutions," says Dirk Reiter, member of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants' Executive Committee.

Participants can visit the Roland Berger headquarters in Munich and learn about potential career opportunities. A fun program in Munich and Tegernsee will allow them to network with Roland Berger employees.

For start2008, Roland Berger is looking for students and graduates from business programs and related degrees such as business IT and mathematics. Application is open to students in their fourth semester (or higher), graduates and postgraduates from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Applicants must have excellent grades and completed an internship in a business environment (international experience is a plus). Participants who demonstrate superior analytical skills, team spirit and personality can learn more by working for us as interns or join a recruiting event without further application.

Further information about this event and the application form can be found at www.start.rolandberger.com   (or contact Kathrin Pommer at +49-89-9230-9147).
