What we offer

RBSE is both a teaching and a research institute. We publish a wide range of first-class studies and books. Our consultants can take advantage of fellowships, Ph.D. and MBA programs and innovative training tools. Ultimately we also plan to offer courses and lectures to external target groups.

THOUGHTS is RBSE's new publication series for decision makers. THOUGHTS provides answers to strategic questions – and thinks beyond borders and across industries. In THOUGHTS we analyze trends in economy and society and discuss their impact on business.

We run two well-established series of academic publications with more than eighty books published over the past years.

Academic Series

The Global Academic Network uses our book series published by Springer Verlag Heidelberg to make its results known to the general public.

Management Series

Our Ph.D. dissertations are published in the series "Schriften zum europäischen Management", Gabler Verlag, Wiesbaden.

Roland Berger employees can join RBSE as a fellow. Here they develop new knowledge, products and tools for Roland Berger. There are two fellowship options: employees can either join RBSE directly or go back to university, researching a specific topic at one of our partnering Chairs.

RBSE offers Roland Berger employees the opportunity to do a Ph.D. The employee is released from work for 12-18 months to conduct research and write a dissertation. RBSE supports our employees in every respect, e.g. with supervising professors from the Global Academic Network or professional services such as editing and proofreading. The dissertations are published in our Management Series.

Roland Berger offers full-time consultants and professional service staff the opportunity to do an MBA at selected European and US business schools. Consulting Analysts may also study for a Master of Science to further their professional development.
