Matthias Spott

Matthias Spott has over 12 years of professional experience in the aerospace industry. He studied aerospace engineering at the Technical Universities of Stuttgart, Linköping and Braunschweig. After graduating, he started his career with Daimler-Benz Aerospace in the Corporate Young Manager Program, and afterward held various management positions at Airbus in Hamburg, Bremen and Toulouse, plus at EADS headquarters in Munich. Matthias Spott then joined one of the leading US management consulting firms before working in the Aircraft Engines division at General Electric.

He joined Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in 2007, where he is a member of the management team for the global Aerospace & defense Competence Center. His work focuses on clients at OEM and supplier level, as well as other relevant institutions and associations. His functional expertise covers corporate strategy, large-scale post-merger integrations, operational performance and process improvement as well as lean Six Sigma transformation.
