Oliver Herweg

Oliver Herweg has more than 18 years of professional experience, 13 of which he has spent in top management consulting. He started his career as an assistant to the plant manager at a leading aerospace company before switching to consulting in 1993. He returned to industry in 2004, working several years at a leading manufacturer of braking systems for rail vehicles before returning to consulting.

Oliver joined Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in 2008 as a Principal in the global Operations Strategy Competence Center. His industry expertise includes machinery, engineered products and building materials. His functional expertise is in operations and aftersales services, where he supports firms in developing and implementing growth strategies, M&A, restructuring, efficiency programs and organizational transformation.

Oliver holds degrees in mechanical and industrial engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne.
