Oliver Merkel
Oliver joined Roland Berger as Partner in 2010 after 9 years with a leading American management consultancy. He is a core member of the firm's Consumer Goods and Retail Competence Center.
He is an expert in the retail sector where he supports clients in online and multichannel strategies, internationalization, private label development and organization topics. His experience includes work at food discounters, DIY, consumer electronics and projects for major online retailers.
Oliver holds a master's degree in business communication from the University of Arts in Berlin and a Ph.D. in business administration and economics from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.
