Philipp Grosse Kleimann
Philipp has been working with Roland Berger since March 2010 as a senior advisor and joined our company in March 2011 as a Partner and Member of the Automotive Competence Center Management Team.
Cars are his personal passion and played a decisive role in his professional career as well. Before becoming a consultant, Philipp spent 15 years in the automotive industry gaining broad firsthand expertise in marketing & sales, retail, customer service, finance and business development.
Most recently, he served on the Board of Management at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd. in the UK. As Director Business Development, he was responsible for dealer marketing, the global dealer network, CRM, licensing and merchandising business of the Aston Martin brand as well as all commercial aspects of the Lagonda brand revival. He also oversaw projects for new downstream initiatives such as finance/lease schemes, pre-owned programs, insurance offers and more.
Philipp started his career at Daimler AG. After assignments in product management and investor relations, he provided support in diverse strategic and operational initiatives as the Executive Assistant to the Head of Mercedes Car Group. Over the following five years, Philipp held director positions covering retail development, warranty processes and the wholesale business with regard to after-sales of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars, vans and trucks, Maybach & smart. He also served on the Supervisory Board of two Daimler affiliates.
Philipp studied business administration in Germany and Spain. He also attended the Advanced Executive Program for Directors at INSEAD, France.
