Sergei Safonov

Sergei Safonov is a member of the Financial Services practice group management for Russia and the CIS.

Over his more than 5 years of consulting experience, Sergei Safonov has advised leading international and local financial institutions in Russia and CIS on various strategic and operational topics. His areas of expertise include strategy and business development, organizational change and business processes, market entry and post-merger integration.

Prior to joining Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, Sergei Safonov worked in patent litigation at Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP in Menlo Park, California, USA.

Sergei Safonov studied economics and sociology at Novosibirsk State University. He holds a Master's in Political Science from Stanford University and an MBA from London Business School.
