Johannes Börner

Johannes Boerner leads the Moscow office financial service practice in Russia and CIS. With over 10 years experience in top level strategy and managerial consulting, he provides advice on strategy development, business building, mergers and acquisitions, private equity deals, reorganization and restructuring for leading Russian and global financial and industrial groups.

Johannes Boerner received a Master's degree with distinction in East European Studies from the University of Bradford (UK) and holds an MBA from INSEAD (France). From 1999 to 2006 he held senior positions at the Moscow and Munich offices of the Boston Consulting Group. In 2006-2007 he worked as the Chief Operating Officer for one of the largest Kazakhstani retail banks. In 2007 he joined Roland Berger Strategy Consultants as Partner.
