Following his graduation from the Faculty of Science at The University of Tokyo and prior to joining Roland Berger, Koichi Mizutome worked for an American strategic consulting firm. He also holds an Executive MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.

He boasts rich experience in marketing, CRM strategy and new business strategy, with a focus on the consumer goods, service and distribution industries. At Roland Berger, he has specialized in corporate and business revitalization and as the Asian representative of the Restructuring Group has tackled numerous revitalization projects.

As both capital and markets globalize, the corporate environment is becoming ever harsher and the choices facing companies are becoming increasingly diverse. At the same time, the possibilities for a company to make a significant leap are also expanding steadily. Competition is becoming more dynamic and there is greater need than ever for corporate managers to run the "Think" and "Act" cycle more accurately, efficiently, quickly and frequently.

Our value is represented by highly inspired professionals who devote themselves completely to working with our client companies to refine and polish the "Think" process and then ensure the implementation of the even more important "Act" process. Backed by our extensive track record in Europe, which like Japan is both diverse and complex in nature, we leverage our diverse industry experience and well-established service structure in Japan to go beyond short-term prescriptions and work single mindedly toward truly improving corporate competitiveness and value.
