Marcos Salla has more than 23 years of experience in all aspects of business management, including marketing and sales for expanding companies, detailed strategy planning and implementation. As a consultant, he has specialized in start-ups, turnarounds and change management for different industries, improving market share and reversing profit losses. Of Italian and Brazilian descent, Marcos has worked in Europe, Brazil and the US.
After graduating with a degree in naval engineering, Marcos spent eleven years in the industry, and then earned a degree in business administration from GV University in São Paulo. He speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish.
He began his career as a marketing team manager at a leading global fast moving consumer goods company. Following this, he worked as a strategic planning manager for the Dallas-based arm of Pepsico. There he focused on evaluating the company's positioning in Latin America, and making strategic business recommendations on sales/marketing/distribution to senior management and board members.
In 1997, Marcos was invited to build up sales and marketing for a large telecommunications company in Brazil. He moved into management consulting in 1999. In 2010, Marcos became a Managing Director of the engineering team in Brazil. He focuses on developing ??ME growth in Latin America.
