Match Point Management is a unique approach which brings together Roland Berger's expertise on customer-centric go-to-market strategies as well as sales efficiency and effectiveness.

In brief

In economically challenging times all companies must simultaneously optimize market and cost performance. If they fail to do so, they are doomed to fall prey to cutthroat competition and will not succeed in the financial markets. Yet most companies' efforts to do so are a collection of – often conflicting – cost-cutting and "sales up" projects. What is typically missing is an integrated framework to identify, measure and optimize the combined market and cost performance.

MATCH – Cost and market performance in an integrated index
POINT – Identify the right levers to optimize performance and
MANAGE – Address the identified challenges using a holistic marketing and sales toolbox.

1. Match - CEO Report

The external benchmarking report for the CEO/Head of Marketing and Sales reveals transparency on the current position in the competitive market.

2. Point - Internal Analysis

In addition, the RB Match Point Index framework helps to identify strongholds and weaknesses within the organization by comparing business units or regional/country organizations with the same framework. For the internal analysis, it is sufficient to collect basic financial data from the controlling department and follow our Quick Check tool. Using a set of structured questions, key reasons for performance/underperformance can be identified.
