Vincent Mercier
Vincent Mercier is a member of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants' Executive Committee and Managing Partner of the firm's offices in France and Belgium.
Vincent Mercier (born in 1949), a French citizen, is a graduate of the Ecole des Mines, holds a DESS in Economics and a Master of Business Administration from Cornell's Johnson School, US. He began his career with Arthur D. Little before joining the French Institute of Industrial Development as department head. In parallel, he taught strategy and organization at HEC School of Management and Institut supérieur des affaires, the leading French business schools.
Mr. Mercier became Vice President of Strategy and Development of the Wagons-Lits Group in 1985. In 1994, he became Vice President at A.T. Kearney, and in 2000 he joined the Carrefour Group as Chief Merchandising and Marketing Officer and member of the Executive Committee. In 2003, Vincent Mercier joined Roland Berger as Managing Partner of the firm's Paris office and, in September 2004, also became Managing Partner of the Belgium office and a member of the Executive Committee (EC). In December 2006, his term as EC member was extended.
