Takeshi Hitomi
After graduating from the Faculty of Economics at Keio University, Takeshi Hitomi started his career at the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi (currently the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd.) and spent 11 years in a Japanese consulting firm prior to joining Roland Berger in October 2010.
He obtained a Master of Business Administration from Fox School of Management, Temple University, is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Washington, the United States and is a Chartered Member of the Security Analysts Association of Japan.
Hitomi has compiled a vast range of experience in business and M&A strategies, post-merger integration, corporate group management, organizational restructuring, governance reform, business turnarounds, financial strategies and other projects for leading companies in the food, wholesaling, retailing, railroad, distribution, machinery, financial and other key industries in Japan.
As an M&A advisor, he has been involved in a total of more than 200 deals. His skills extend far beyond the proposals of mere conceptual theories, in striving to deliver consulting services keenly attuned to the execution of specific strategies.
Takeshi Hitomi has also written and lectured widely on his knowledge in the M&A field.
