Alexander Belderok
Mr. Alexander Belderok focuses on strengthening the competitive position of companies in the fast-moving consumer goods sector and the chemicals industry.
Alexander is a member of Roland Berger's Amsterdam office management team. He is in charge of the Consumer Goods and Retail Competence Center and has joint responsibility for the Chemicals Competence Center in the Netherlands. He has specific functional expertise in the area of strategy development, organizational restructuring, innovation, complexity management and operations.
Alexander has five years of industry experience in fine chemicals and over eleven years of consulting experience. During these eleven years, his projects included managing large-scale change processes on behalf of international companies in the chemicals and consumer goods industries. His most recent assignments concerned restructuring a biotech company, market assessment for a new food technology, market entry studies Russia for a specialty chemical company, strategic development for a specialty chemical multinational, optimizing the supply chain of a multinational ingredients company and redesigning the organization of an international chemicals company.
Alexander has published articles about strategic sourcing, supplier innovation and complexity management. He also gives guest lectures at the Technical University of Eindhoven on innovation in the food industry and on aspects of internationalization at the University of Leuven.
He studied mechanical engineering at the University of Twente and completed his MBA at TSM Business School.
