Bernhard Langefeld

Bernhard Langefeld is a Principal at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and member of the management team of the Engineered Products & High Tech Competence Center.

Throughout his career, Bernhard has always worked in the engineering and manufacturing sectors. He worked for more than 10 years as a process engineer, plant and project manager in the manufacturing and automotive industry, later on as a consultant.

At Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, Bernhard supports manufacturing and engineering clients who work with long-lifecycle products, such as turbo machines, large Diesel engines, generators, etc.

His focus is on process and product cost optimization, manufacturing processes, factory design, sourcing, global footprint design, restructuring and relocation.

Bernhard studied production technology and received his Dr.-Ing. from the RWTH Aachen.
