Arne Mathias

Arne Mathias is Principal at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and member of the management team of the Engineered Products & High Tech Competence Center.
Arne graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Bochum. He started his career with Mercedes-Benz AG and Fujifilm before moving to consulting in 2001. He works in the renewable energy, manufacturing and automotive industries.

In the wind industry, Arne is an expert supporting the world's leading turbine manufacturers and suppliers in cost-out activities, performance improvement programs and achieving operational excellences in engineering, production and purchasing. He works on projects all over the world, especially in Europe and Asia.

In the automotive and manufacturing industries, Arne supports leading European OEMs and suppliers of passenger cars, vans and trucks as an expert for interior, exterior and chassis components. He is in charge of various projects in Europe, Russia and Asia.

He is an expert in understanding product and process complexities and developing strategies for target costing, procurement, supply chain, logistics and production optimization.
