Dirk Friebel

Dirk Friebel is Principal in the Transportation Competence Center at Roland Berger.

Many projects for various European logistics service providers and leading global manufacturers have made him an expert in transportation and operations strategies. Dirk studied at KIT Karlsruhe until 1991 before joining the "world of consulting." At Roland Berger and other international leading consulting firms, he developed a keen interest in operations and the transportation industry. From 2002 to 2011, Dirk worked outside the consulting business, most recently as Head of Strategy Europe/CEE for DHL Global Forwarding. His functional specialties include strategy development, corporate restructuring and insolvency.
