David Stern

David is a Partner at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in London and has 25 years of top management consulting. He has been heading the London office as managing partner from 2004 to 2011.

Following a degree with first class honours in Natural Sciences from Cambridge, David completed his PhD in Chemistry in 1983. Since then he has worked in consulting, initially with McKinsey and LEK Consulting prior to joining Roland Berger. He also has an MBA from INSEAD.

At Roland Berger he has focused on advising companies on strategic questions primarily around growth topics and on assisting financial investors with making and optimising acquisitions. He has extensive experience of advising on national and cross-border acquisitions and has worked in a wide range of industries.
