Japan Desk
Helping Japanese businesses navigate the often difficult regulatory waters in Europe is the main purpose of the newly created 'Japan Desk' in Roland Berger Strategy Consultants' offices in Düsseldorf.
Japanese consultants with international experience will support their country's companies in their activities in Europe. These consultants are familiar not only with the special characteristics of the Japanese market, but also the intricacies of navigating the regulatory complex entity that is the European Union. Approximately 80 representatives of Japanese companies in Germany will participate in today's opening ceremony in Düsseldorf. Japanese business leaders and Roland Berger consultants will use the occasion to highlight the success enjoyed by Japanese companies abroad.
"Recently, the number of Japanese companies that wish to expand their European operations has increased dramatically and will continue to rise. This trend is also due to greater economic interdependence around the globe," explains Satoshi Nagashima, Partner at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants who is now in charge of the Japan Desk.
