Entrepreneurs wanted!

enable2start
enable2start
Roland Berger supports "enable2start", the business founder competition hosted by Financial Times DeutschlandAlong with excellence and partnership, entrepreneurship is one of our company's basic values. This is why Roland was immediately willing to support the enable2start business founder initiative, which Financial Times Deutschland is sponsoring for the third time in 2009. The competition is intended to encourage entrepreneurship in Germany. Anyone who has founded a company within the last two years or is about to do so can apply at enable2start's Internet portal. Applications will be accepted until August 15, 2009.

Out of all the participants, FTD will select 12 finalists who will then have to present their concepts to a jury of experts. Each of the five winning entrepreneurs, who will be honored in Hamburg on November 17, will receive start-up support in the form of EUR 50,000 in cash. FTD will also follow and report on the new companies for one year. This makes it possible to watch the new businesses develop "live".

Roland Berger is not only helping to fund enable2start, but is also providing its know-how: Our CEO Burkhard Schwenker is a member of the jury that will choose the best new business concepts.

Setting up your own business means taking risks and assuming responsibilities. And this is exactly what Roland Berger is supporting this initiative: taking responsibility as an entrepreneur. After all, entrepreneurship has been the driving force of our company since its foundation, and many of our alumni have since gone on to set up successful businesses. We have therefore informed all Roland Berger alumni about the enable2start initiative. Who knows, maybe one of them will be among the future laureates?
