According to our Africa team, the 22nd World Economic Forum on Africa held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, was a remarkable experience. The Forum brought together global heads of state and top decision-makers from the realms of business, politics, NGOs and academia to discuss the ongoing transformation of the African continent. More than 700 delegates from over 70 countries attended the meeting on May 9-11.
Our firm, a strategic partner of the World Economic Forum, was represented by Partners Laurent Benarousse, Nicolas Teisseyre and Christian Wessels and by Senior Consultant Angela Adeboye. Christian Wessels was particularly happy about the "very useful meetings with business and political leaders from several locations in Sub-Saharan Africa."
One of the highlights was a meeting with the President of Nigeria and several members of the government. Angela Adeboye had the unique opportunity to talk with President Goodluck Jonathan about our firm's current work in Nigeria.
