Cross-border projects in multicultural teams are becoming the rule in international strategy consulting. To give students and graduates better insight into this world, Roland Berger is inviting 30 promising students to its "EUROPErspective" recruiting event in Berlin. On May 27 and 28, 2011, participants will have the opportunity to work together with experienced consultants to create a strategy for a real Roland Berger client. Students, recent graduates and Ph.D. students with top grades and international experience can submit their application by May 5, 2011 to http://europerspective.rolandberger.com.
"Cross-border work is becoming the rule in a more integrated Europe, especially in Central Europe. That is why we are looking for people who want to work in the region," explains Per Breuer, Head of Global HR at Roland Berger. EUROPErspective is aimed at students, recent graduates and Ph.D. students from Germany, Croatia, Austria, Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
The event involves real project work with Roland Berger consultants. Grouped into small international teams, the students will put together their solution strategy for a real-life client of Roland Berger with the help of experienced consultants. They will then prepare their final presentation and present it to a jury consisting of Roland Berger consultants. After detailed analysis, every participant will be given individual feedback on his or her project work.
"Our initiative in Berlin is designed to provide promising students and graduates with more insights into the world of consultancy and show how exciting and diverse this work can be," says Per Breuer from Roland Berger. "Furthermore, the event represents an opportunity for us to get to know outstanding students, who may one day be our colleagues."
