Recruiting event for engineers and chemists in Düsseldorf

Roland Berger Strategy Consultants is holding its recruiting workshop for engineers and chemists for the third time. The workshop is a chance for the participants to get a closer look at consulting. Their task is to develop solutions for an actual case in the energy and chemicals industry. Students, graduates, doctoral candidates and professionals in engineering and chemicals from Europe and the US are eligible to participate. The workshop will be held in Düsseldorf from November 27 to 29, 2008. Applications will be accepted up to November 2, 2008 at www.empower.rolandberger.com  

On the first day of the event, HR employees from Roland Berger Strategy Consultants will present career opportunities in international strategy consulting. The participants will then start working on their projects.

Work continues on the second day. Participants will speak with the client's employees, analyze company and market data and evaluate findings. They will use this information to draw up recommendations for action. Experienced consultants support the participants as they develop realignment strategies and prepare their presentations. At the end of the day, the work groups present their ideas to Roland Berger consultants and the client. The announcement of the winners and feedback interviews finish off the event.
