The recruiting workshop start2009 offers university students and graduates an inside view of how the international strategy consultancy Roland Berger Strategy Consultants works. In small groups, participants from Germany, Austria and Switzerland will develop consulting solutions for a leading international mobility and logistics company. start2009 is aimed at university students in at least their fourth semester and graduates and doctoral candidates. The workshop will be held in Munich and Tegernsee from January 9 to 11, 2009. Those interested in taking part can apply at www.start.rolandberger.com before December 15, 2008.

By working on a real project, the participants in start2009 will gain insight into how international strategy consulting works. They will be put into small groups and asked to design a brand strategy for a leading international logistics company group. They then have the chance to convince the client of their strategy by presenting their results in a board meeting situation.

"We are looking for people who think like entrepreneurs", says Dirk Reiter, member of the global top management of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. "The workshop is designed to impart our corporate culture of excellence, entrepreneurialism and partnership to the students. In this way, applicants find out quickly if they can identify with our values, and if they could imagine working at Roland Berger."

During the recruiting workshop, participants also get a look behind the scenes of the Roland Berger head office in Munich. Alongside the project work there will also be enough time to discuss career prospects. And an extensive recreational program at both locations gives participants the opportunity to get to know their possible future colleagues.

Roland Berger is looking for undergraduates and graduates in economics and related subjects such as industrial engineering and management information systems for start2009. University students from the fourth semester onwards from Germany, Austria and Switzerland can apply. Applicants should bring with them outstanding academic results, internships with a commercial focus and international experience in the form of a semester or internship abroad. Those participants who make an impression at the recruiting event with their analytical abilities, team spirit and personality can add to their experience with an internship at Roland Berger or be invited to take part in a recruiting day for new consultants.
