Published in theleading business daily, Handelsblatt, a new consulting index shows how Roland Berger Strategy Consultants is challenging the competition.
According to the study, conducted by leading experts Dr. Frank Höselbarth and Professor Rupert Lay, McKinsey remains the leader in terms of client profits, but BCG is extremely close to their level, with Roland Berger following closely behind in third place.
Some 1,400 managers working for companies with revenues of over EUR 125 million in Germany, Austria and Switzerland were approached as part of the survey. The three criteria used to judge brand strength were increased client profits, reputation of the firm and brand awareness.
Findings prove that Roland Berger's brand awareness is excellent and right on par with the competition. The study specifically highlights Roland Berger's "exceptional brand growth of around 44%," which has allowed it to "leap into the premier league of consulting brands – the so called tier one consulting firms. Within a period of less than five years," the survey highlights, "the 'top two' have become a 'top three'".
