Roland Berger Zagreb goes Facebook

Roland Berger Zagreb is exploring new ways of recruiting, marketing and communicating with its target groups. As one of the first Roland Berger offices, Zagreb now has its own Facebook account by the name of "Roland Berger Zagreb". As a first step, the office uses the social media platform to invite students to participate in its "Case Challenge Zagreb 2010" competition on April 13.

Promising beginning

Being regarded as an innovative employer is essential today in order to attract top performers. The new Facebook presence is one way to engage web 2.0 users in a dialogue with Roland Berger. And it works: After just one week of being online, the office's Facebook presence had attracted around 100 friends and was perceived very positively. Students are busy pre-discussing a selected case as a preparatory effort for the case challenge.

Interactive dialogue wanted

"Our objective is to enter into an interactive dialogue with people who have an interest in intellectually developing Croatia and its companies further, building on the know how Roland Berger can offer", says Vladimir Preveden, Managing Partner at Roland Berger Zagreb. The office will publish news about recent studies, upcoming events and lectures on Facebook and invites users to discuss these.
