Dr. Torsten Henzelmann is a Partner in Frankfurt and Head of Roland Berger’s Competence Center Civil Economics, Energy & Infrastructure, Chemicals & Pharma. His projects address all types of corporate management issues for leading international industrial & service providers, environmental technology firms and public institutions. Since joining Roland Berger in 1998, he has worked on both strategic and operational topics for numerous clients. His experience ranges from the strategic realignment of companies to managing transactions and post-merger integrations. His special focus is on the implementation of concepts and solutions.
As a Technology Specialist, Torsten supports transformation projects and develops strategy and performance programs for leading companies. He also has expertise in large, technology-driven infrastructure projects in both the public and private sectors, with a focus on energy infrastructure. Torsten studied Industrial Engineering at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern. After graduating, he worked in energy management and consulting for two energy supply companies. During this time, he completed his dissertation on change processes in energy supply companies. He has authored numerous publications on renewable and conventional energy technologies as well as real estate markets.
Torsten gives lectures in Sustainable Business as a Professor at the Environmental Campus Birkenfeld, Hochschule Trier.
