Fabian Schinke is a Principal in the Consumer Goods, Retail & Agribusiness practice at Roland Berger in Düsseldorf, and works closely with retail and consumer goods clients. He is an expert in distribution and purchasing processes. His particular focus is on ultra-fresh commodity groups and their special challenges in production and retail.
His recent project includes the targeted development of a distribution strategy for a major food manufacturer in times of highly strained commodity markets. Furthermore, Fabian deals in detail with the socially and economically relevant issue of food waste. For a leading global food retailer, Fabian also recently defined the target picture for halving the volume of waste and the corresponding steps to achieving that goal.
Before joining Roland Berger in 2022, Fabian worked in food retail for 13 years and held various leadership positions. During this time, he was responsible for various sales and purchasing departments at three leading German retailers. Fabian holds a degree in business administration from the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt.
