Mr. Gaurav Wadi is a Partner in the Industrial Products and Services Competence Center for Roland Berger. He co-leads the Aerospace and Defense Competence Center for Roland Berger in the Middle East. He is an industry expert in topics across the aerospace, defense and security value chain. His recent projects have been focused in two main areas: Supporting government entities creating successful ecosystems in which aerospace, defense and security companies can thrive, and enabling existing companies pursue successful growth strategies. In his recent years he has worked with the likes of ministries, government policy and strategy setting entities, sovereign wealth funds, leading national industrial companies, international investors and new ventures. He has addressed topics such as defense offsets, cyber security, national defense industry strategy, aero engine MRO, aerostructures, M&A, national exhibitions and industrial funds.
Gaurav also co-leads the operations topics in the Middle East with emphasis on performance improvement, cost reduction through levers such as procurement.
Gaurav brings more than 18 years of consulting and industry experience across the globe, including US, Australia, Asia, and the Middle East, where he has been based since 2007.
Gaurav holds a master's in business administration from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor's in computer engineering from the University of Arizona.
