Jan Rabe joined Roland Berger in 2022 as a Senior Partner in the Munich Office, working for the Regulated & Infrastructure platform. He co-leads the company’s Sustainability and Climate Action Client Team and is working for clients in the (renewable) energy and industrial spheres.

Jan brings 20 years of experience centered around management consulting and sustainability, acquired during various posts at a multinational industrial conglomerate where he worked from Germany, Denmark, the US, China, and Japan. In his most recent role, Jan was the CEO of the conglomerate’s in-house consulting unit which he transformed into a full-line consulting firm that also served external clients.

Prior to that, Jan led corporate sustainability activities and designed and introduced a carbon-neutral program ahead of the Paris climate conference. One of his longer-term missions was to help grow an acquired wind power business — first as a consultant and later as part of the core management team.

Jan holds a diploma in business engineering from the University of Karlsruhe (KIT).
