Michael Blatz is a Senior Partner for Restructuring, Performance, Transformation & Transaction in our company. He is a leading expert in operational & financial restructuring and implementation management. His wealth of experience spans more than 25 years and 200 restructuring projects in large corporations and mid-cap companies in virtually every sector.

After holding management roles in various industries, he joined Roland Berger in 1990 and became a Partner in 1998. He then led the firm’s Corporate Performance team from 2002 to 2008, and in 2011 went into business for himself as MBC, Michael Blatz Consulting. During this time, he continued to work for Roland Berger as an external senior advisor on a project-by-project basis.

Michael holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Magdeburg. He has been the Chairman of the Supervisory Board for Loewe AG and held a seat on the Advisory Board of the DAW Group. He is a member of the supervisory board of the Babelsberg football club (SV 03 Babelsberg) and is honorary director of a Heidelberg-based NGO for company restructuring.
