Osamu is a Principal at the Roland Berger Tokyo office. With a broad range of experience in consulting and marketing for the life science industry, he manages many consulting projects across the pharmaceutical value chain, such as strategy development (marketing strategy, etc.), sales/marketing operation improvement, company-wide operation cost reduction, organizational reform, and new business model development.
Prior to his current role, he worked for a U.S. consulting firm, a pharmaceutical company, a consumer healthcare company, and a general trading company.
He earned his MBA in Marketing and Finance from Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University in the USA. He also holds a certification from ESCP (École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris) in France. He is a graduate of The University of Tokyo with a BS degree in mechanical engineering.
