Dr. Satoshi Nagashima joined Roland Berger in 1996 and now works as Managing Partner in Japan. After completing the doctoral program in The School of Science and Engineering at Waseda University, Japan, Satoshi stayed on as an assistant. He holds a PhD in Engineering.
His work focuses on grand strategies, business roadmaps, change management, digital transformation of workplaces (Gemba) for manufacturing. Recent years have seen him channel particularly keen attention into improving creative productivity® of clients to enhance the competitiveness strength and global presence of Japanese companies.
Satoshi Nagashima also currently serves in an advisory for the following companies: astamuse company, Ltd., ExaWizards Inc., XVI Inc., Kaizen-Meister Co., Kabuku Inc., Professor Shirasaka's Lab of Graduate School of System Design and Management Keio University, Core Concept Technologies Inc., Dream Arts Corporation, GK Kyoto Inc., Beckhoff Automation GmbH, Linkers Corporation and Yuki Holdings Inc.
He holds positions of member of government related commission such as member of "the Strategic Commission for the New Automotive Era" by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and member of "the Policy Council for Small and Medium Enterprise" by the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency.
