Sven-Erik Gless is a Partner in Roland Berger’s office in Hamburg. He initially worked for Roland Berger as a Strategy Consultant in the Restructuring Competence Center from 1995 to 1999. He was one of the Co-Founders and a Managing Partner of FMC Consultants GmbH, and has extensive practical experience in restructuring and strategy projects for medium and large corporations throughout a range of industries. He has led teams on major reorganization projects for banks, public institutions and industrial firms including both voluntary financial restructuring and insolvency proceedings.
His mandates have covered a variety of aspects from developing concepts and ensuring their operational implementation to assuming interim management functions. Sven Gless earned his Ph.D. with a thesis on corporate turnaround in 1995, and worked on numerous projects for Germany's Treuhandanstalt privatization agency. Aside from his consulting work, he also sits on several advisory and supervisory boards, and is an active member of various industry associations and societies.
