Eckehard is a member of our Restructuring & Corporate Finance Competence Center in Frankfurt, Germany. Before becoming a Partner at Roland Berger in 2014, he served eight years as CFO, five years as a board member of a stock-listed company in the consumer goods & retail business, and three years in the automotive industry. In these roles, he focused on strategy development, operational improvements, cost-cutting and the disposal of non-core assets, as well as on a broad range of refinancing measures including capital increase, sale & leaseback, factoring, debt-to-equity swaps, mezzanine, syndicated loans and bonds.
This is the second time Eckehard has joined the Roland Berger team. He began his career at a top investment bank before coming to work at Roland Berger for 4 years. His career then took him outside the company, where he gained senior management experience in operational and financial restructuring, strategy development, investor support, and M&A before his return in 2014. Eckehard holds degrees in both physics and business administration from the Goethe University in Frankfurt.
