Ignatius Tong has been Managing Partner at Roland Berger Greater China for the last 8 years. His expertise includes work in the consumer goods, retail, automotive and food & beverage sectors. He has served some of the world's most prominent brands, setting strategic direction as well as making operational improvements, particularly in the areas of sales process engineering, product portfolio realignment, cost cutting and designing profitable growth strategies.
Ignatius has over 17 years of experience in strategy consulting in both the US and China. He also has a strong background in automotive aftersales services, info-com, digital marketing and merger & acquisitions evaluations. Outside of his consulting career, Ignatius has also worked in the corporate sector, giving him a perspective on the practical execution of strategic plans and the day-to-day management of P&L. In addition, he has twice embarked on entrepreneurial ventures, once in Localized Online Marketing in the US and once in Fast Casual Dining in China. These experiences have further enriched his understanding of business operations from a deeply practical perspective. Ignatius holds a BS in Business Administration from UC Berkeley.
