Patrick Biecheler is a Partner with over 18 years of experience in management consulting coupled with operational experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He began his career in 1995 as a marketer in Pharmaceuticals before transitioning to consulting. Patrick first joined Roland Berger in 1999 before taking the position of Director of Marketing at AstraZeneca. He then rejoined Roland Berger in 2006 as a Principal in charge of the development of the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Competence Center, which he now leads. Since 2014, he has also been the Managing Partner of Spain, where he oversees teams in the Madrid and Barcelona offices.
Patrick works primarily on projects involving strategic planning, management of product portfolios (prioritization in early and late stage, launch and management of life cycles), performance and cost optimization. He graduated from ESSEC in France, where he studied Marketing and Finance.
