Stephan has a track record spanning more than 20 years in consulting and the financial services sector and brings a wealth of experience in the field of banking, digital transformation, performance management, organizational effectiveness and human resource management.
For the first half of his professional career, Stephan worked for renowned consulting firms until 2005, when he transitioned into senior executive roles in the banking sector.
He was Senior Vice President HR Europe for a well known cooperative bank. As of 2009, he was responsible for retail and wholesale banking in several local member banks in the Netherlands and then returned to Belgium, where he became CEO of the country's first digital bank.
Stephan studied Management Science at the University of London and obtained his MBA from Solvay Business School in Brussels.
