Prof. Dr. Torsten Oltmanns is a Partner in Roland Berger’s Civil Economics & Infrastructure Competence Center and Head of the international Executive Communication Practice Group. He also serves as a Chairman for Roland Berger’s Global Marketing & Communication. He advises companies and the public sector on strategic communications issues and Public Affairs.
Torsten studied Economics at the University of Cologne and, at the same time, trained as a Business Journalist at the Cologne School of Journalism. He later completed a doctorate in Economics and Social Science at the University of Innsbruck, Austria, with a thesis on Change Management. He has published several books on strategy and marketing and gives speeches and lectures on the topic. He is a visiting fellow at the University of Oxford and a research professor of Economic Policy at Quadriga University of Applied Sciences in Berlin.
