René Seyger is a Partner at Roland Berger. He focuses on the automotive, transportation, and healthcare sectors. He supports his clients in restructuring and in adapting their strategies in a rapidly changing environment. René’s work has included a Dutch automobile manufacturer’s transformation into an independent producer, cooperation in the rail sector, and a merger that created the Netherlands’ largest nonacademic hospital.
René specializes in rebuilding and improving companies and organizations that are facing difficult conditions. His analyses are thorough, yet creative, and he is not afraid to consider unconventional answers to the questions at hand.
René studied Business at the University of Twente and cofounded the Dutch office of Roland Berger in 2002. In 2012, he published Trojan Horses of Decline, a book that addresses how management and supervisors can recognize corporate decline at an early stage. René has been on the Supervisory Board of Ampelmann since 2004.
