Dmitri Zaitsev is a Managing Partner for Russia, as well as the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Head of Roland Berger’s Moscow office. His expertise includes corporate strategy and governance, organizational design, performance management and process improvement. Dmitri’s experience includes work in the trade & structured finance division of a major American commodity trading corporation and the management consulting division of a Big Four company.
In addition to his strong focus on financial services, Dmitri has experience with diversified conglomerates and large players in the retail, telecommunications and utilities industries. During his years working in industry, he worked hands-on with the management and supervision of various corporate functions, including operational planning, sales, distribution and investment management, as well as marketing and PR.
He has over 20 years of experience in the consulting and financial services industry in Russia, Ukraine, CEE and the UK. Before he joined Roland Berger in 2011, he was Head of the Management Consulting Practice of a major international consulting company. Before that, he served as Deputy Chairman of the Board and Head of Strategy for a large Russian financial group.
He graduated from the International Economic Relations Department of the Kiev National University of Economics and obtained his financial qualification from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in the UK. He also holds an MBA from IESE Business School.
