black@Roland Berger

"Black@Roland Berger has given me the opportunity to help shape our recruiting processes in the U.S., and provided a crucial source of support and community. "

Christopher Hoyes

Principal

Black@Roland Berger is a global and caring community for all colleagues of African heritage to facilitate professional exchange and mentoring, as well as engage in community and internal events. It connects colleagues from all Roland Berger offices around the world in a forum to discuss questions, concerns, and topics of interest.

The group also is open to Roland Berger colleagues of all backgrounds who are interested in supporting their colleagues of African heritage.

Our Mission

The mission of black@Roland Berger is to increase representation, retention, and engagement at all levels by:

  • Creating and promoting an environment where all colleagues of African heritage feel accepted and supported to reach their maximum potential.
  • Instituting activities to engage and enrich the existing black@Roland Berger network.
  • Increasing community outreach and programs that impact people of color in our U.S. offices.
  • Expanding diversity within the recruiting process by directly engaging minority student organizations and historically Black colleges and universities.

Campus Recruiting and Activities

From campus and online recruiting events such as the National Black MBA Conference, and other activities that encourage student involvement, we are actively engaged in creating opportunities for minority and under-represented students to learn more about the consulting profession, and to begin (and build) their careers at Roland Berger.

Recruitment

We support and encourage recruitment efforts that provide access to a diverse and inclusive talent pipeline, with opportunities for career growth and advancement.
