International 2011 - Restructuring study

German and international companies are optimistic once again now that the financial and economic crisis is over and consider themselves very or extremely competitive.

To expand their opportunities in the market, 83% of these companies therefore continue to rely on restructuring. Apart from power and trading companies, most German companies improved liquidity. The same trend is also visible internationally – but 10% worldwide see the situation as still critical. Risks related to raw materials prices and exchange rates still worry many companies. But most companies still underestimate the role of structured risk management.

These are the findings of the new national and international restructuring studies by Roland Berger Strategy Consultants.
