Our study "SporTech in France, in the starting blocks for 2024", carried out in partnership with the SporTech collective, puts the spotlight on three major dimensions of the sports sector:

  • The latest significant technological innovations in sports, including those seen at the Tokyo Olympics
  • An overview of the practice and new modes of consumption of sports in the world
  • A panorama of startups developing innovative solutions, segmented into three main categories: amateurs, professionals and fans
Founded in October 2019, the SporTech collective is on a mission to make French startups in this field succeed. While the ecosystem is gathering more and more companies, funding has not yet benefited the entire industry.

The huge fundraising carried out by the bridgehead Sorare (580 million euros) could create a dynamic, as well as the creation of specialized funds such as Seventures Partners or Trust Esports.

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games are the perfect opportunity for this fast-growing sector to demonstrate the relevance of its innovations.

The Olympics should be a great showcase not only to increase the sector's visibility with investors, but also to improve its public awareness, and at the same time attract the attention of all segments of the sports industry.
